Let your kids draw the cloud and paint it how they like it to look. Put the double-sided tape on the bottom of the cloud and start cutting long colorful strips. Try your best to cut strips with equal length and width. 

Your little helper can arrange the color strips in the order of the real rainbow, which could help enhance their color recognition ability.

Now let's make the handle of your colorful rainbow fan. Find a piece of paper and roll it until it has the shape of a straw. Remember to use your double-sided tape to firmly bond the handle.

Now take the other side of your cloud (you made two clouds, remember?) and join the two sides together. 

Finished! Your kids got themselves a nice DIY gift for their friends!

Here's what you gonna need: tissue paper, white glue, black cardboard (you can always choose the color combination you want), white paper, red, yellow, brown, and black markers.

Use white paper and cut the shape of the popcorn box. Let your kids identify the features of popcorn and then color it on the white paper. This could let them observe the features of an object and summarize the patterns, which improves their rational thinking ability. 

Let your little helper prepare the "popcorn" using tissue paper. They will need to roll and adjust the shape of each individual popcorn tissue roll to make them have a similar texture to the popcorn. The final step is to color them yellow and brown.

Use the orange paper and roll it to create a cone. Cut the top part so that you will have a flat surface.

Now it's time to make carrot tops: use scissors and cut the green paper into small strips (remember don't cut them off. You are supposed to leave 30% space for the uncut part).

Roll the carrot tops and insert them into the carrot part.
