Thank you all for supporting and following our easy kids crafts series! It's our mission to always look for fun kids' activities that cost you almost nothing - everyday household items or your kids' existing art supplies should suffice this journey of fun.
Summer is the best season for most of the kids (because of the long holiday). It might be very challenging to keep your kids entertained. Apart from all the outdoor games and camping trips, we have other ways to keep your kids occupied and help them improve their hands-on abilities. Here are the best kids crafts DIY projects we have selected for you!
This paper umbrella can also be used as a nice dining table decor (as long as your kids won't put them in your drinks) if you are throwing parties for your kids. I personally love those - they are the ultimate patience booster for my kids.
Start by preparing multiple colored papers. You can ask your kids to choose their favorite colors.
Cut them into smaller circles and fold them into semicircles. Let your kids apply many pieces of double-sided adhesive tape to all the semicircles they have created.
Repeat the previous step and fold the semicircle in half.
Now, it's time to make the umbrella handle. Tightly roll a piece of paper into a stick and fold it to make a curvy end - just like the real umbrella handle.
Then bond all the quarter-circles together.to make the canopy.
Adjust the canopy and cut off the redundant part.
This is a great craft for kids that improves hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
If you are looking for other products that enhance the core hands-on ability, I strongly recommend you to try this kids pretend play vacuum set!
I know it is kinda unrelated to the paper crafts, but trust me, they serve the same purpose! The best thing is that you can train your kids to become your little helpers who love to clean house for you (safety first!)
I am sure that nobody can resist the fluffy cotton candy lollipop. I am a grown up and still long for cotton candy lollipops (it has to be cotton candy styled). If your mom usually doesn't allow you to have one, well, these can be your spiritual lollipops to have.
All you gonna need is a piece of paper and some modeling clay in different colors.
Roll the clay into strips (create as many as you like) and combine them together in a spiraling manner. Then create the shape of the lollipop!
Isn't this tiny turtle cute? My personal fav!
It's always the eco-friendly recyclable crafts that win my heart.
Start by collecting an egg carton and cutting one of the egg containers into the shape of the turtle shell.
Paint the turtle shell in the color that you like. I chose green this time.
Now, it's time to make its head. All you need to do is roll a piece of paper into a cylinder.
Make the rest of the body parts. Most importantly, don't forget your pet turtle's face! You can use googly eyes to create more lively motions!
If you want to improve your kids' fine motor skills, this handyman toy tool set is also a great option!
Awww what my kids love the most from this art DIY is its colorful scales and the process of making it - so satisfying!
Start by drawing a circle on a piece of paper. Choose the color you like❤️
Then turn this circle into a cute fish.
Time for the most challenging and yet very satisfying part - let's prepare its scale.
Fold the small circle in half and stick them using white glue.
Repeat until you got something like this:
